Do you give cars away for free?
We want to work within your budget, but also understand that this process is not free. A vehicle, price of parts and labor poured into it are all very costly, but we can offer an affordable, highly reduced, fair price because of the generosity that only Christ perfected.
How do you find and rescue vehicles?
We take into careful consideration each vehicle we purchase and acquire. Most times there is a vetting process done by Rob. We get them by word of mouth, the internet, and donations.
What if I know someone in need?
Click on contact us on our home page and let us know some information. We would love to partner with you as best as we are able.
Do you take car donations?
Yes! However, we do take the condition of the vehicle into consideration and the amount of work that will need preformed to get it up to our standards.
What if I need to get a second opinion, advice or looking to purchase a vehicle?
We get questions and give advice on vehicle inquiries on a daily basis. We will do what we can, share information or help you. We have a network of people that we work with. We have people around the US or even others who are coming back after being overseas for years that ask questions and/or purchase vehicles through us. Whether it is a car question or concern, make sure you ask the right person to avoid headaches down the road.
I’m looking for a newer car with very low miles, with warranty that needs no work, for around $5k, can you help?
So are we….. let us know when you find it.
What is it that you guys do?
It starts when a need has been given or brought to our attention. We search out the right vehicle that will meet the need. Then the work begins. Most vehicles we have/are able to purchase/or been given, require an extensive amount of repair and replacement of parts to make it mechanically sound.
Every situation is different. We leverage what we have for The Kingdom. In some instances we gift the vehicle, some we discount and others we sell at a fair price for a vehicle in more than excellent mechanical condition.
If we get word there is a need for a car, we find a car.
If we get word there’s a need for car repair, we work to repair or point in the right direction.
If we see someone on the side of road with a flat, we stop to change the tire.
If we get word someone needs help moving, we lend a hand…and a truck if we are able.
It can seem that it’s about cars, or car repairs. It’s much more than that. It’s how we view obedience; using our time, talents and resources for God’s Kingdom.
Can I purchase a vehicle from you?
Click on the Vehicle Inquiry Form and let us know what you are looking for and your budget. We will get back with you on what we have or will have available. We are not a dealership, but will work within your budget and need. We spend an average of 80-120 hours on each vehicle before it leaves us to make sure it is safe and ready for the road, there is a high demand and a waitlist.
Who do you help?
Almost every referral we get comes from someone we love and trust or an organization that we work along side.
There is a lot of need in all aspects of life. We continually desire to open our eyes to the needs in front and around us.
“I had heard about Rob, but how does it make sense to buy a 16 year-old used car from halfway across the country, sight unseen? This is how: Rob’s high integrity and mechanical perfectionism. We got a 2004 Sienna from him in mechanically perfect condition. So grateful for God’s providence to our family through The Salvage Yard.”
