It started as a passion to work on cars and help others. And then we began seeing the desperate need to have a dependable vehicle to get a job, go to work, keep employment, and provide for themselves or a family.
Our mission is to provide dependable vehicles to serve people in times of crisis and need.”
For the past 13 years we have been pouring our time, talent and resources to rescue and repair vehicles. As demand grew, so did the needs to keep up. It is by God’s grace that He provided just the right place to use this passion for good. On the outskirts of the city, we have grown our garage and have a small piece of land that has a full shop, and lots of room for parking.
Most of the vehicles we purchase or acquire come with extensive work that needs to be done before it is safe and ready for the road. We go from bumper to bumper fixing all necessities and then some (if you know Rob!).
In 2022, after years of having two jobs, and something we never knew was possible, Rob was able to say goodbye to his employment and finally be full time at The Salvage Yard. This life is the only one we have. It’s our only opportunity to make an impact in a fallen world. It’s not perfect, it’s not easy, it’s not huge, but let’s live boldly for a reason.

If we serve others in the depths and want to allow others to step into that, we believe there should be some heart strings pulled. challenging. hard. beautiful. The focus for us isn’t money. It isn’t a lot of things. It’s the need in all our desperation, and our Savior that steps into it. That’s the story. That’s helping kids with no dads or parents that have little or whether someone keeps their baby or transportation. Let us all be overflowing in the gifts He has given us. It shows great of our God. And without Him we are capable of no good.
Let’s get to work. Shop opened, wrenches turning.(and not just after hours anymore!)
