“The greater the difficulty to overcome, the more will it be seen to the glory of God how much can be done by prayer and faith.” – George Muller
We are humbled by all who came out to show their love and support to celebrate with us. There has been a lot of prayer and a lot of faith in 2023, and we have much to celebrate. God is at work and great things are happening.
In 2023 The Salvage Yard has:
Provided or maintained a vehicle for 136 families.
Received 18 vehicle donations
Performed over 1,000 repairs
“Vehicle Hospitality” Is what we sort have become. Yes vehicles, yes vehicle repairs, but it is much more than that. Sometimes it’s direction, advice, assessing the situation, compassion, to lend an ear to hear, food, furniture, someone in their corner, or problem solving on the side of the road. It is not perfect and never will be, but that honestly makes it easier to engage and to show the goodness of God.
In 2024, we want to give more cars away, we always want to serve more people, but most of all, we want it all to be leveraged for His Kingdom. Right now, we have 23 people in front of us who need a vehicle and 13 who need assistance in repairs on their vehicle. If you feel led, join us!
Let’s get to work. Shop opened. Wrenches turning.
